Obituary of Molly Brown

Molly Brown passed away suddenly at the Olds General Hospital on Friday, February 24, 2006 at the age of eighty five years. Molly was born and raised in Cochrane where she resided most of her life. After her retirement she joined the Lockend Ladies, which she thoroughly enjoyed. She also participated in the Bethany Adult Support program. Molly will be remembered lovingly by her children Evelyn (Ron) Hartz, Jean Henning, Tom (Mary), Janice Brown, Clifford, Carol (Bill) Mayhew, Don (Jodi), and Sheila (Jerry) McKay; eighteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; as well as numerous foster grandchildren. Molly was predeceased by her husband Alfred in 1981; sister Ada; brother Bob; granddaughter Shelly; grandson Blair; two great-granddaughters Stacie and Dakota; two sons-in-law Keith and Lloyd; and daughter-in-law Janice. Funeral Services will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church (128 1st Street East, Cochrane, AB.) on Wednesday March 1, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. Internment to follow at the Cochrane Cemetery.
