Obituary of Carlos Quitzon

Carlos (Bobby) Quitzon, beloved husband of Erlinda Quitzon of Calgary passed away peacefully on Monday, February 20, 2006 at the age of 67 years. Prior to immigrating to Canada in 1972, Bobby graduated from the University of the East with a Bachelor of Commerce and enjoyed playing basketball with the UE Warriors who won two national championships during his collegiate career. Since retiring, Bobby returned to the Philippines as a supporting member of a family medical mission. All those who met Bobby will always remember his sense of humour, generosity and kind nature. Bobby is survived by his wife of thirty-three years Erlinda; his children, Karen and Robert (Bobby Jr.); his son-in-law Ian; his brothers, Andy (Carol) and Tito (Ofie); his sister Penny; and numerous other relatives in Canada, the United States and the Philippines. Bobby was predeceased by his brother Jack; and two sisters, Choling and Nene. Bobby loved his friends and family dearly and his happiest moments were those when he was surrounded by the ones he cared for.
