Obituary of William Somerville MacDonald

William (Bill) MacDonald, beloved husband of Mickie of Calgary passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at the age of 75 years. Bill was born on October 29, 1930 in Broderick, SK. He received his education at University of Saskatchewan, obtaining his Civil Engineering Degree in 1960. Here in Calgary, Bill owned his own business in the construction industry, later moving into the investment industry. Bill always enjoyed curling, golf, playing bridge and sharing a “rusty” with family and friends. . Besides his loving wife of fifty-years, Bill is survived by his children and their spouses, Bill and Julie, Heather and Larry, Paige and Rod and Terri and Bruce; his grandchildren Sam, Nik, Aly, Pam, Cam, Mac, Danno, Ryan and Liam. Bill was predeceased by his thirteen year old son, John Alexander (Sandy) in 1971. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.)
