Obituary of Ross Brown

The family of Ross Brown wishes to announce his transition to a being of light on February 14, 2006. Ross was born in Roblin, MB and came to Alberta in June of 1947. He worked for Amoco Canada for a number of years. Ross was passionate about wildlife and could often be found along the Elbow River, feeding the ducks and geese during the cold winter months. In his younger days he enjoyed many sporting activities including skiing, diving, flying and hiking and enjoyed watching boxing on T.V. as he reminisced about his own encounters in the ring. He also had a great sense of humour, loved to tell a good joke and was always up for a debate about politics. Ross was survived by his loving companion Noelma; sister-in-law Pearl Graff and brother-in-law Michael Mazur; special niece Tracey and nephew Brian Foster as well as numerous other nieces and nephews. Ross was predeceased by his parents as well as siblings, Victor, Amie, Fred, Bertha, Sam and August. A Celebration of Ross’ Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Thursday, February 23, 2006 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
