Obituary of John Robert Nesbitt

Jack died peacefully and with dignity at his home with his loving family at his side on Thursday, February 16, 2006 at the age of 81 years. Jack filled his career and life with the things he loved. He flew with the Royal Canadian Air Force, worked thirty-seven years with Mobil Oil, was on the Board of Directors for the Calgary Exhibition & Stampede, and was a long-time member of the Earl Grey Golf Club where he spent many hours golfing and playing bridge. He was also one of the founding members of the 3IIILC Club. Jack is survived by the love of his life Beryle; and his three daughters, Jan of Edmonton, Tricia of Okotoks, and Sara-Jo (Vaughn) of Calgary. He is also survived by his sister Lenore Biddell of Ottawa, ON; and three sisters-in-law, Kathleen Maier and Roxane Skelton, both of Regina, SK and Joan Skelton of California. Together with two grandchildren, Kyle Poulsen (Erin) and Kristen Ohlhauser of Edmonton, Jack is also survived by many nieces and nephews from BC to Newfoundland and Montana. A Celebration of Jack’s Life will be held at the Earl Grey Golf Club (6540 – 20th Street S.W.) on Wednesday, February 22, 2006 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
