Obituary of Dawn Yvette Crowchief

Dawn Yvette Crowchief of Tsuu Tina Nation passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on Saturday, February 11, 2006 at the age of 46 years. Dawn was born on May 10, 1959 at the Calgary General Hospital. She attended school in Calgary and Morley. She was originally from Tsuu Tina, but lived in both Morley and Hobbema. In 2004, she returned to Tsuu Tina. Dawn is forever loved by her son Ethan Crowchief; three daughters, Christina (Raymond), Anna (Brad), Jerrie Lynn (David) Crowchief; sister Marlene Morin (Trevor); six grandchildren, Parnell, Craig, Clarence, Twyla, Nevin and Johia Crowchief. She was predeceased by her parents, Douglas Crowchief and Dolly Morin (nee Beaver); son William Douglas Crowchief; brothers Allister Crowchief and Michael Charles Crowchief; and daughter Monica Dawn Crowchief. Dawn will be greatly missed by her many relatives from Morley and Tsuu Tina nation. Wake Services will be held at Dawn’s residence, 3840 Korea Avenue S.W. Tsuu Tina Nation, AB on Thursday, February 16, 2006. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 3700 Anderson Road SW Calgary, AB on Friday, February 17, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Alex Shahun OMI, Presider.
