Obituary of Silvana DiGiovannantonio
Silvana (Sylvia) DiGiovannantonio of Calgary, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 40 years on Wednesday, February 15, 2006, after a thirty year struggle with kidney disease.
Sylvia was born on July 8, 1965 in Penna S. Andrea, Italy and immigrated to Canada with her family at the age of six months. Sylvia will be remembered for being a fun loving person. Besides her mother Giustina, Sylvia is also survived by a brother, Dominic and Gabrielle DiGiovannantonio of Comox, BC; three sisters, Fran Edwards and Dave Wrigley, Rita and Tony Greco, and Mina Jones; four nieces and three nephews, Tabetha, Carolyn, Lino, Amanda, Christina, Nicco and Alex. She was predeceased by her father Pasquale DiGiovannantonio on January 16, 1999.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Sunday, February 19, 2006 at 7:00 p.m.
