Obituary of Mervyn Harold Wheeler

Mervyn Wheeler, beloved husband of Margaret Wheeler of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at the age of 91 years. Mervyn will be sadly missed by his loving wife Margaret of sixty-four years; his daughters Glenda Milligan, Karon Wheeler, Joanne (Brian) Erickson, and Deborah (Bob) Gilchrist; grandsons Ryan (Cynthia) Scott, Adam (Rachael) Erickson, and Steven Erickson; two little great-grandsons Jonah and Nolan Scott. He is also survived by two sisters Mary Ditson of Kindersley and Muriel Gard of Kelowna. Mervyn was predeceased by three sisters, Irene Bruce, Lillian Palmer and Marjorie Long. Mervyn was born in Saskatoon and raised in Kindersley, SK. He actively and contract farmed, near Kyle, SK, for sixty-two years. Mervyn enjoyed his summers at Shuswap Lake and many winters in Arizona. He loved his Ford vehicles and his joy of fixing everything kept him busy and active all of his ninety-one years. His family and friends will dearly miss him.
