Obituary of Clarence Michael Lockner
Clarence Michael Lockner passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2006 at the age of 75 years.
Clarence was born on May 4, 1930 in Daysland, AB to John and Louisa Lockner. Much of Clarence’s life was devoted to sales, primarily, Singer Sewing Machines. Because of his exceptional salesmanship he won many trips and awards offered by the company. Clarence enjoyed the opportunity to travel and also the opportunity too commune with nature. His favourite park was Waterstone National Park, Montana. After retirement he stayed busy by doing public relations work for several local carpet cleaning companies.
Clarence will be fondly remembered by his son Finlay Clarence Lockner, of Airdrie. He is also survived by is sister Laura (Jack) English; five nephews, four nieces; and his former wife Elvira. Clarence was predeceased by his son Robert; and his brother Dick.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (4718 Worcester Drive S.W.) on Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Graveside Service will be held at Queen’s Park Cemetery at a later date. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
