Obituary of Candida Locso Reyes

Candida (Dading) Locso Reyes of Calgary, passed away at home on Friday, February 10, 2006 at the age of 82 years. Candida was born on October 3, 1923, in Tiaong, Quezon in the Philippines. She was a counsel woman and President of the Catholic Women’s League in her hometown of San Francisco del Monte, Quezon City. In 1983 she immigrated and settled in Canada. She is survived by six sons, Ted (Emmie), Romulo (Yolanda), Ramon (Carina), Arthur (Zenaida), Jesus (Socorro) and Greg; daughters Lourdes (Eden De Ala) and Cecile (Ronald Cruz); as well as nineteen grandchildren. Candida was predeceased by her husband Louie and daughter Eloise Polintan. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church (321 – 90th Avenue S.E.) on Thursday, February 16, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev.
