Obituary of Lorne Gilday
Lorne Edward Gilday beloved husband of Maggie of Calgary, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2006 at the age of 55 years.
Lorne was born and raised in Calgary on November 3, 1950. He was employed with Canada Post for thirty-five years. He was an avid, competitive pool player, loved sports and race horses. Besides his loving wife, Lorne is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Carman and Kevin Litau, Wendy and Shawn Smith of Lethbridge; mother, Ivy Gilday (Lloyd) of Airdrie; two grandchildren, Taylor and Shandron. He is also survived by two brothers Pat and Dorothy and Dean; two sisters, Linda and Derk, Peggy and Dave.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Sunday, February 12, 2006 from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m.
