Obituary of Justine Stimson

Justine (Tina) Stimson of Siksika Nation passed away Friday, February 3, 2006 at the age of 39 years. Justine was born on August 22, 1966 in Calgary. Tina always had a smile on her face. She was adventurous and explored new avenues. She loved being with people and was easygoing with a big heart. Despite what challenges came into her life, she was a humble and caring person. Tina loved animals that were small and weak and especially eagles. Because of her love for eagles, she was nicknamed Eagle. Justine will be lovingly remembered by her children, Dwight, Ellen (Ella) and Nigel; brothers, Danny (Marie), Jordon, Horton, Andrew and Jason; and sister Diane (Harvey Jr.); her boyfriend, Mike Mabee, who loved and cherished her. She is also survived by her uncles, Chief Adrian Stimson and Roy (Joan), Dickie; aunts, Ruby Doore, Audrey McMaster and Betty Stimson; as well as the Raw Eater, Axe, Brass, Running Rabbit, Bull Bear, Turning Robe, Black Horse, Spotted Eagle, A Young Man, Crowfoot, Water Chief, Weasel Child, Crane Bear, Back Fat, Stevens, Yellow Fly, Yellow Old Woman, Maguire, Wolf Ear, and Breaker Families. She will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, friends, extended family members and by all who knew and loved her. Justine was predeceased by her parents Colin and Bella Audrey Stimson (One Runner); sister Colleen; grandparents Edward (Connor) and Doris Heavy Shield (Stimson); uncles, Eddy, Bruce, Patrick, Exavia, Ralph, and Adrian Stimson Sr., and Adolphus Weasel Child; aunties, Patsy and Peggy Stimson, Lorretta Doore, and Mary Running Rabbit; and paternal and maternal grandparents as well as numerous cousins. Wake Services will be held at St. John The Divine Anglican Church (Siksika Nation, AB) on Thursday, February 9, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at St. John The Divine Anglican Church (Siksika Nation, AB) on Friday, February 10, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Paul Little Walker Cemetery (Siksika Nation).
