Obituary of Crystal McKenzie

McKENZIE – Crystal Grace 1922 – 2006 Crystal Grace McKenzie (nee Larson), passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2006 at the age of 83 years. Crystal was born on March 10, 1922 in Glidden, SK, to Chester and Ethel Larson. At a young age, her family moved to the Neeb area. Crystal spent her early years there and would eventually meet Hector, her husband. They married June 15, 1940. In the mid 1950’s they moved to the town of Meadow Lake, SK. They would reside their until Hector’s passing. Crystal then moved to Calgary to be with her daughter Marlene. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Marlene and Robert Sanregret of Calgary; three grandchildren Tyler and Betty of Calgary, Tristan and Neelam of Washington, DC, Trisha of Calgary,and two great-grandchildren,Quenten and Tara of Calgary. She is also survived by her niece Elaine Wilder of Moose Jaw, SK; nephews Glenn and Gordon Larson of Orangeville, ON. Crystal was predeceased by her husband Hector in 2000, two sons, Boyd and Billy; sister, Elvina and brother Clair.
