Obituary of Marie-Ange Lauzon

Marie Lauzon (nee Lajeunesse) of Calgary passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2006 at the age of 91 years. Marie was born on June 8, 1914 in Bonfield, ON. She resided in Timmins, ON and various other locations in Ontario and Quebec for many years before moving to Calgary in 1980. She was a hard-working person and always helped her family in any way she could. Marie enjoyed her vacations, especially when she and her husband went travelling in their camper. She also enjoyed embroidery. Marie loved her family and will be sadly missed. Marie is the loving mother of Ronald (Gisele) Lauzon of Caroline, AB, Rejane (Thomas) Blanchard of Calgary, Pauline (Gerald) Lavoie of Calgary, Noella (Leo) Brazeau of Moonbeam, ON, and Gaetan (Pauline) Lauzon of Calgary; sixteen grandchildren; and twenty-three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Jeanne d’arc Lajeunesse of Kapuskasing, ON; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Hormidas in 1981; son Daniel in 1980; grandson Yvan Blanchard in 1984; and her brothers and sisters. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at Ste. Famille Catholic Church (1717 – 5th Street S.W.) on Monday, February 6, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Ste. Famille Catholic Church (1717 – 5th Street S.W.) on Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Gilles Gauthier, Presider. Graveside Service to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
