Obituary of Joan Grace Wilson

Joan Grace Wilson, beloved wife and mother, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, February 2, 2006 at the age of 73 years. Joan was raised in Calgary where she was born to Albert and Isabel Gallagher on March 29, 1932. She was married in Calgary to Roy Ivan Wilson on March 8, 1952. Joan and Roy were married for over 46 years until his passing on November 22, 1998. Joan was a lifelong mother and very proud of her family. Her abiding concern was for the welfare of her children and grandchildren. Joan will be fondly remembered by her four sons and daughter and their respective families; Jim Wilson, wife Joanne Wallace and children, Jeff, Jackie and Jordan; Ron Wilson, wife Erlene and children, Laureen, Matthew and Alicia.; Rob Wilson, wife Annette and children, Kyle and Aimee; Don Wilson, wife Karen and sons, Paul and Scott; Tricia Bennett, husband Norm and children, Christopher and Curtis. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.) on Thursday, February 9, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev.
