Obituary of Rosie Schell

Rosie Schell (nee Baier) of Calgary, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2006 at the age of 86 years. Rosie was born on December 24, 1919 in Macklin, SK. She was one of thirteen children. Rosie was raised in Cosine, SK and moved from Salvador, SK to Calgary in 1969. She is survived by her seven children, Elsie, Morris, Lucille (Murl), Eva, Adele (John), Ivan (Theresa), Donata (Doug); twenty-three grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Valentine; two sons, Kenny and George, and grandson Drew; her parents Alouis and Eva Baier (nee Miller) and parents-in-law, Valentine Schell and Rosina Schaff (nee Gramlick). Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Tuesday, February 7, 2006 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (2519 Edmonton Trail N.E.) on Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev.
