Obituary of Dave Scott
The family of John David Scott regret to announce his passing on February 1st in Calgary.
Dave was an employee of Gulf Canada (B.A. Oil) for over thirty years. He was a Ham Radio Operator (VE6TZ) and instrumental in the organization of the Certified General Accountants Association in Alberta and served as Provincial and National President. He was also a charter member of the Calgary Winter Club. Dave is the beloved husband of Margaret and father of Brian (Joanne) Scott and Susan (John) MacDonald. His grandchildren are Michael (Shinko) Scott, Kim (Tony) Paradoski and their children Nole and Brooke, Kris (Sheryl), and Kelly (Tiffany) Carruthers and their children Hailey and Karley. He also leaves two sisters Dorothy Sullivan and Betty (Don) Higman. He was predeceased by his parents Canon Tom (Kathleen) Scott and brother Archbishop Ted (Isobel) Scott. He loved his family and they loved him.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
