What an amazing tool the internet is: I was at LSE with John, we shared an apartment for a while. We haven’t been in touch since 1966, until quite by chance today I came across his name, only to find that he passed away in 2006. I am sorry that we will never communicate. It is perhaps a bit late for condolences, but I send best wishes to his family.
