Obituary of Indira Guha

Indira Guha, wife of late Dr. Gauri Shankar Guha, noted ophthalmologist of Eastern India, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at age 93 years. Mrs. Guha was born on December 15, 1912 in Myanmar (Burma). She is survived by her daughters Dr. Ratna Ghosh, C.M. and her husband Dr. Ashok Vijh, O.C. of Montreal, Dr. Swapna and Dr. Ashis Gupta of Calgary; grandchildren, Partho Ghosh and Anuradha of New York, Arjun Gupta and Seneca of San Francisco, and Shona Gupta of Los Angeles. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North; 276-2296) on Sunday, January 29, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations, if desired, may be made to Medicins Sans Frontieres.
