Obituary of Elena Talbot

Elena Talbot, of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at the age of 97 years. Elena was born October 1, 1908 in Whitford, Alberta. She was the oldest living and founding member of The Calgary Deaf Association. She was an extremely kind person who always appreciated kindness in others. Elena is survived by her two sons and daughter-in-law, Fred and Norma, and Ray; grandchildren, Russ, Brian (Kim), Lisa, Mitchell, Paige, Cindy (Frank), Terri, Cathy (Pat), Doug (Carolyn); great grand children Nathan, Cori, Alyssa, Trevor, Laine, Evan, Isaac, Teagan, Cody, Brandon and Colton. She was predeceased by her husband William in 1953; her son and daughter-in-law Allan and Peggy.
