Obituary of Stanley S. Kobluk

Stanley S. Kobluk, beloved husband of Ethel Kobluk of Calgary, passed away at the Extendicare Hillcrest on Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at the age of 82 years. Stan was born on April 22, 1923. He worked as a Landman in the oil industry with various companies for over forty years. He enjoyed golfing at Shaw-Nee Slopes with his friends in his spare time. He is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Ethel of Calgary; two sons, Calvin (Gina) of St. Cloud, MN and Michael (Diane) of Calgary; a sister Marge (Ernie) Deibert of San Diego, CA; a brother Bill (Judy) of Edmonton, AB; and six grandchildren, Kristi, Hannah, Trevor, Landon, Grayson and MacCayle. At Stan’s request, no funeral service will be held. A reception in Stan’s honour for family and friends will take place at Shaw-Nee Slopes Golf Club (820 James McKevitt Road S.W.) on Saturday, January 28, 2006 from 2:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
