Obituary of Mary Lois Price

Colleen Price of Calgary, beloved wife of the late George Osborne Price, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. Colleen was born in Orillia, ON and attended school in Copper Cliff. She graduated as a Registered Nurse from St. Michael’s College of Nursing in Toronto. George and Colleen were married in 1951 and resided in Lively, ON before moving to Thompson, MB in 1960. After raising their three sons, George and Colleen spent five years in Soroako, Indonesia before retiring to Cobden, ON. To be closer to her children and grandchildren, Colleen moved to Calgary in 2001. Colleen will be remembered as a loving mother, a devoted grandmother and a dedicated volunteer. Her beautiful smile will never be forgotten. There was always a place at her table for anyone that came by. Colleen is survived by three sons, Steven, wife Patti and sons, Geoff and Matthew; Gordon, wife Helen and daughter Sarah; and Robert, wife Christine and children, Ivan, Zenon, Jesse, Mira, and Darci. She is also survived by her sister Glen; her niece Vicki; and nephews, Stuart and Scott, and their families. She was predeceased by her husband George.
