Obituary of Emmanuel Arsenault

Emmanuel (Chester) Arsenault beloved husband of Joyce of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2006 at the age of 78 years. Chester was born on December 14, 1927 in Bluebell, New Brunswick. In 1957 he came to Calgary and married Joyce Saville on February 14, 1958. He worked with Poole Construction, and Bennett & White Construction for many years. He retired in the late 1980’s. Chester enjoyed coffee with friends and meeting new people. He liked to go walking and to tell of all the construction projects he was involved with, from the Husky Tower to various schools throughout Calgary and area. Chester was a great conversationalist, and a loving dedicated father, and grandfather. Besides his loving wife Joyce, Emmanuel is survived by their children, Richard Arsenault of Calgary, Sandra and Mike McEachern of Calgary, David and Videll Arsenault of High Level, AB, Val Arsenault of Calgary; grandchildren, Ryan and Curtis, Michael McEachern, Anita (Jason) Karpinsky, Reid, Danae, Chase, Mason and Logan, and Randy; two great-grandchildren, Deliah and Nevaeh. Chester is also survived by his brother Leonard; and sisters Annie, Freda and Violet. He was predeceased by his parents Jacqueline and Isador.
