Obituary of Agnes Grace Marx

Agnes Grace Marx of Calgary passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, January 19, 2006 at the age of 89 years. Born in Elnora, AB Agnes lived and travelled throughout Alberta, BC, and the NWT before making her home in Calgary in 1971. She was an active member of St. Andrew’s United Church and enjoyed the companionship of her many friends at Anthonian Court where she has lived for the past twelve years. Agnes is lovingly remembered by two sons, Collin (Lois) of Calgary and Brian (Tennis) of Edmonton, AB; grandchildren, Trevor, Bonny, Tina, and Kelly; nieces and nephews; and her many friends. She was predeceased by her husband Karl Gunnar in 1967; as well as two brothers and three sisters. A Celebration of Agnes’ Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Tuesday, January 24, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Rod Sykes of St. Andrew’s United Church officiating. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to S.T.A.R.S.
