Obituary of James Ernest Venn

Bill Venn, beloved husband of Lil Venn of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at the age of 85 years. Bill was born on August 27, 1920 in Hamilton, ON. He served in WWII with the RCAF. He met and married Lil while serving here in Calgary. For forty years they proudly served the community as J.E. Venn Upholstering in Calgary. Bill loved golfing, trailering, camping with Stampede City Sams, and square dancing with the Gadabouts. Besides his loving wife of sixty-two years, Bill is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Bonnie; his daughter and son-in-law, Joanne and Mario Veronese; his grandchildren, Patricia, Susan and Michelle all of Calgary; two sisters, Margaret and Pat; as well as his brother Ed. Bill was predeceased by his brother Harry. At Bill’s request no Service will be held.
