So sorry to belatedly learn of Dr. John’s death and the earlier demise of Lois Edith. They were always Mr and Mrs Duffin to me when David and I were growing up on the Elbow Park/MT Royal prairie. My wife and I have been living in Georgia since 2006. Prior to that we were in Southern Illinois from 1978. I have any memories of Your mum and dad and the family (Judy, Susan, and Tim). David was my first friend in Calgary and We shot our first gophers together. Your mum put me on my first horse, an Arabian, which upset Dr. John. My grandfather, Dr. RNW Shillington was an Army colleague in WW II but RNW had also been in WW I.
