Obituary of Anna Maria Kockerbeck
Mary Kockerbeck of Calgary passed away peacefully following a stroke on Sunday, January 15, 2006 at the age of 80 years.
Mary was a fun-loving woman who loved her family and was dedicated to her sons. She was born in Frankfurt Am Main, Germany on April 14, 1925. She later married Gunther Kockerbeck and began a new life with him by moving to Calgary in 1951. Together and with their sons they worked hard serving the Calgary home building market through Gunther’s Building Center.
Mary is already missed by her three sons and two daughters-in-law Conrad and Joy, Ed, Peter and Linda; eight grandchildren, Kurtis, Kelsey, Troy, Mark, Spencer, Philip, Zachary, and Erica; and great-granddaughter Ryan.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Tuesday, January 17, 2006 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1307 – 14th Street S.W.) on Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
