Obituary of Isabell Hunter

Edith Hunter, beloved wife of fifty-four years of John E. (Jack) Hunter of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2006 after a courageous battle with melanoma at the age of 75 years. Edith was born in Calgary on June 9, 1930 and attended Ogden School, Colonel Walker and Western Canada High. She married Jack on June 1, 1951 after a five year courtship. Edith was an ardent gardener and loved her greenhouse and country living. She was an accomplished seamstress and always had knitting or needlework in progress. Besides her loving husband Edith leaves to mourn her daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Dave Jacobus, and Sandra and DeVery Yarborough; her grandchildren, Tracy Oman and Derek Jacobus; as well as many relatives and friends. Edith was predeceased by her parents Isabell and Bob Moss of Edmonton; and her mother and father in-law Isabella and Bert Hunter of Calgary.
