Obituary of Carlos Afonso

Carlos Afonso, beloved husband of Heather Afonso of Calgary, was suddenly taken on Wednesday, January 11, 2006 at the age of 53 years. Carlos was born on September 24, 1952 in Santa Maria, Acores, Portugal and immigrated to Canada in 1965. He married Heather Ellis in 1974 and together they raised four sons, Nathan (Kristen), Steve (Diana), Scott (Diana) and Devin (Savannah). He will be lovingly remembered by his three brothers, John (Lucy), Joe (Diana), and Eduardo Jr.; his two sisters, Grace (Frank) and Eduarda (Mike) as well as numerous relatives and many friends. Carlos was predeceased by his parents Eduardo and Josefa, and his sister-in-law, Darla.
