Obituary of Robert Edwin Young

Robert (Bob) Edwin Young of Calgary passed away at the Peter Lougheed Hospital on Saturday, December 31, 2005 at the age of 76 years. Bob, the youngest child and only son of Matilda and Stacey Young, was born on May 14, 1929 in Moosomin, SK. He spent his childhood on farms in Saskatchewan and spent his adult life driving truck throughout North America, with his home base in Calgary. He had many wonderful adventures to relate. Left to cherish Bob’s memory are his sisters, May Frederiksen, Audrey Smith, Edith Vereshagin; brother-in-law Stan Wooley and numerous other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents; his sisters Annie and Grace and brothers-in-law Alex, Sandy and Harry. A Private Prayer Service will be held at a later date.
