Obituary of Norman Wong

It is with sadness that the family of Norman Wong announces his passing on Wednesday, January 11, 2006 at the age of 69 years. Norman was born in Castor, AB. Norman spent his early years working in a variety of local towns before settling in Calgary in 1959. He is survived and remembered by his loving brothers and sisters, Pearl (Lemy), Paul, Eddie (Helene), Mary (John), Kaye (Michael), sister-in-law, Frances, his special friend Marvie Giordano, his pal Linus, his many, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and the numerous good friends he made during his many years in the Calgary Restaurant business. Norman joins in Heaven his parents Wong Tae and Mary, sister Rose, brothers Bill and George and brother-in-law Tom. Norm will be remembered most for his wonderful humour, generosity and ability to make friends wherever he went. A Memorial Service in celebration of Norman’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. David J. Carter of St. Margaret’s Anglican Church, Eagle Butte, Cypress Hills, Presider. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
