Obituary of Annie Viola Edith Kemery

Annie Viola Edith (Anne) Kemery (nee Hogg), beloved wife of Leo Kemery of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at the age of 71 years. Anne was born on December 12, 1934 in Lymburn, AB and raised in Longview. She married Leo in 1961 and they raised their family in High River and Calgary. Anne was a tireless, conscientious and hardworking person who took life seriously. At the same time she greatly appreciated gardens, flowers, and other works of creation. As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, since 1972, she actively served God, sharing her hope with others of a paradise earth, under God’s kingdom rule. It was this hope that sustained her during the last two and a half months of illness. Besides her loving husband, Leo, she is remembered by her son and daughter-in-law Aaron and Grace Kemery of Ottawa, ON; daughter and son-in-law Michelle and Simon Reed of Calgary, AB; and grandchildren Briana and Joshua Kemery of Ottawa, ON. Anne is also survived by Bill and Alix Hogg of Grande Prairie, AB; Albert Hogg of Calgary; Rosalie and Garth Koll of Beaverlodge, AB; Roy Hogg of Grande Prairie, AB; and Rhonda and Ernie Yaskowich of Calgary. She was predeceased by her brother George Ernest Hogg; and her parents Osborne and Hannah Hogg.
