Obituary of Donna Heim

Donna Anne Heim, beloved wife of Mr. Bob Heim, loving mother and grandmother of Calgary, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at the age of 65 years. Donna was born on July 28, 1940 in Bonnyville. She was raised in Edmonton, and attended the University of Alberta, graduating in 1961 with her degree in Home Economics. She later worked at the Misericordia Hospital until 1965 when she moved to Calgary. Donna married Bob on September 18, 1965 in Edmonton. Donna was a devoted Edmonton Oilers and Edmonton Eskimos fan, but considered Calgary her home. Donna will be best remembered for her countless hours of sacrifice driving her children and grandchildren to their many activities. Besides her loving husband Bob, Donna is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and Bob McDonald, son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Rhonda Heim, all of Calgary; and five grandchildren; Caitlin, Graham, Zoe, Breanna, and Lauryn. She is also survived by her mother, Anne Poohkay of Calgary, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, John Poohkay in 1966.
