Obituary of Brittany Bearspaw

Britt passed away tragically in the early hours of January 1st, 2006, at the age of her sweet sixteen. She was brought into this world on September 30, 1989. She leaves to mourn her loved ones behind so suddenly, her mother Geraldine (Buffy) Bearspaw, step-father John Sedo, biological father Quinton Broad Scalplock of the Siksika Nation, one sister Tiffany, three brothers, Tyson, Tristan, Jacob and a adopted brother Jessie of Brandon, MB, and other sisters and brothers from the Siksika Nation; great grandfather Judea Dixon, grandparents Mildred (Greg) Scalplock, Delbert Scalplock, Barbara (Orval) Daniels, Charlie (Helene) Rabbit, aunties and uncles Joyce (Richard) Mark, Winnie (Ernie), Brenda (Morley), Charlene (Clarence), Delphine (Frank), Christine (Harold), Linda (Delbert) Loriann (Lawrence) Powderface, Albert, Alvin, Gilbert (Florene) Frances Lloyd, Marty and many other aunties and uncles, cousins, friends on both sides of her family. Family members from Winnipeg adopted as their own grandchild, grandmother Mary Hayes, grandfather Phil Hayes, and many aunts, uncles in Manitoba, grandma Joyce Sedo, grandpa Brian Sedo, and extended family members. Britt attended Morley Community School at the time of her passing. She was in grade 11 and enjoyed her education and wanted to become a lawyer. Education was her first priority. She was full of dreams and wanted to live her life to the fullest. She was a wonderful girl and always had a smile for everyone a bright little girl that had dreams and goals for her future. She enjoyed doing a lot of things that made her happy. We will miss Brittany. She was taken from us unexpectedly and tragically. She predeceased her great grandparents Roger Bearspaw (1976), Gladys Bearspaw (2005) grandmother Gwendolyn Bearspaw, grandfather Albert Dixon, Evangeline Rider, Beverly Daniels, Evelina Bearspaw, Lily Poucette, aunts and uncles, Cheryl Bearspaw, Lena Daniels, Stanley Rollinmud, Alma Bearspaw, Andrew Bearspaw, Lambert Daniels, Debbie Mark, Marvin Mark, Samantha Bearspaw, Simmone Bearspaw. Wake Services will be held at the residence of Geraldine and John’s Morley, AB, today, January 5, 2006. Funeral Services will be held at the Morley Gymnasium on Saturday, January 6, 2006 at 12:00 Noon. Graveside Service to follow at Bearspaw Cemetery.
