Obituary of Beth Mary Gaskarth

Beth Mary Gaskarth (nee Burgess), beloved wife of Frank Gaskarth of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at the age of 92 years. Beth was born in Duval, SK and moved to Calgary in 1929. Beth and Frank travelled extensively and enjoyed the camper truck and square dancing. An excellent bookkeeper, she updated her skills at U of C, completing accounting courses at sixty years old. Beth will be lovingly remembered by her son and daughter-in-law Bill and Esther of Calgary; her grandchildren, Janice (Lester) Perrott of Slave Lake, AB, Will of Gaung ju, South Korea and Jason (Toby Leigh) of Calgary; and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Norman (Lily) of St. Albert; as well as many nieces and nephews. Beth was predeceased by her three sisters, Aneta, Lilias and Ella. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Giles Presbyterian Church (1102 – 23rd Avenue N.W.) on Monday, January 9, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
