Obituary of Florence Aquilini
Our angel, our mother, our grandmother, Florence Irene Aquilini (nee Connor) of Calgary, passed away after a courageous battle with Leukemia on Friday, December 30, 2005.
Florence was born on February 5, 1928 in Hartney, MB. She worked at Forest Lawn High School Cafeteria for many years. Her family and home were her pride and joy. She enjoyed working in the yard and garden. Florence had a heart of gold and was always there for others in need. She would give a helping hand whenever called upon. Florence is survived by her children, Lorraine Aquilini (Dave Anderson), Dolores Aquilini both of Calgary, Gene (Martina) Aquilini of Langdon; grandchildren, Dario and Makenzie. She was predeceased by her husband Alex, daughter Pat, mother Helen and sister Helen.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at 2:30 p.m. Graveside Service to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
