Obituary of Kathleen Evelyn CRUMP
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kathleen Evelyn Crump (Kaye) of Calgary on Monday, December 26, 2005 at the age of 72 years after a lengthy struggle with heart disease.
Kathleen was born March 4, 1933 in Alexandra, PEI and was raised in Tyne Valley, PEI. She lived many places throughout her life but she was truly a Maritimer at heart. Mum had a great love of all things “Maritime” and had many happy stories and fond memories of her life there. Mum moved to Calgary in 1995 to be closer to three of her children and grandchildren. She was always a Mum first and extremely proud of her children and their accomplishments. She loved being a Grandma and has left her grandchildren with many happy memories and her gentleness, humour, kindness and most of all her love. Although Kathleen may be gone, her spirit will remain in the hearts and souls of all who were blessed to know her.
Kathleen is survived by her children and their spouses, Barry Crump and Wendy-Anne Thompson, Randy and Jane Crump, Sharon and John Van Oort, and Linda and Mike Pruden; ten grandchildren Charlie, Davis, Megan, Natalie, Ashley, Alana, Lindsay, Laura, Carly, and Madeline; her sister Ruth; and two brothers Orville and Erland (Woody). Kathleen was predeceased by her parents Doris Williams and Wilbur Wood.
“Our memories of you we will always cherish
in our hearts forever you will be.”
