Obituary of Kay Harper

Mary Kathleen Harper beloved wife of Len Harper for sixty-one years, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2005 at the age of 90 years. Kay was born in Medicine Hat on April 16, 1915, and raised in Calgary. She studied dental nursing at University of Toronto, returned to Calgary, where she met the love of her life. Kay and Len married on August 19, 1944, and later welcomed only child Tom. Kay devoted her life to being a homemaker. She will be remembered for her passion for her Christian faith, roses and cats. Especially fond memories were of visit to relatives in Ontario and England. Kay is mourned by husband Len, and lovingly remembered by son Tom, and grandchildren Nicholas and Rachel. She was predeceased by her brother Arnold in 2001. Funeral Services will be held at MCINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, December 30, 2005 at 4:00 p.m. with the Rev. David Asher, Presider.
