Obituary of Henry Teichroeb

Henry (Hank) Teichroeb, beloved husband of Doreen Teichroeb of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2005 at the age of 69 years, after a brief struggle with cancer. Hank was born in Saskatchewan and married Doreen in Swift Current in 1957, moving to Lethbridge in 1960. They resided there for thirty-nine years, and then moved to Calgary in 1990 until the present. Hank was a Sales Representative for Co-operative Insurance. One of his many accomplishments was as President of Life Underwriters Association. He retired in 1994. Hank had many talents and a very special attitude with his many friends, as well as extra special love for his children and grandchildren. Besides his loving wife Doreen, Hank is remembered by his two sons, Randy and Laura of Oregon, and Terry and Karen of Calgary; his daughter Shelley and Andrew of Calgary; as well as six grandchildren, Amy (Vancouver), Jennifer (Oregon) Erin, Colton, Chanda, and Shayden (all of Calgary); and great-grandson Shane (Oregon). He is also survived by his brothers, Peter and wife Doris and Jake and wife Betty, all of Lethbridge, AB; sister Mary Peterson of Swift Current, SK; as well as numerous nieces and nephews He was predeceased by his brothers, George and John, both in 2001. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
