Obituary of Carl Edward Erickson
Carl Erickson passed away suddenly in Edmonton, AB on Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at the age of 57 years.
Carl was born on December 10, 1948 in Regina, SK. His family lived in Calgary, Nelson, BC and Cranbrook, BC. Carl met and married Patricia Peters and resided in Calgary where he worked within the trucking industry for many years. Over the years Carl and Pat had two children, Rob and Karin. The greatest joy in Carl’s life was his 2 ¢ year old granddaughter Tannis. He recently found out that he was going to be the grandfather of Karin and Glenn’s twins and was thrilled. Carl loved to work in his wood-working shop, building toys and various things and had also recently purchased a motor home so that he could once again resume the camping lifestyle that he had enjoyed in the past. He was very much loved and will be sorely missed by all that knew him.
Carl is survived by his wife Patricia; son Rob (Stephanie); daughter Karin (Glenn) Heavens; granddaughter Tannis Erickson; mother Irene; brother Wayne (Doris); and sisters, Kathy (Bill) Gess and Linda (Bruce) Wilson.
