Obituary of Phyllis Lorraine Bosomworth

Phyllis Bosomworth of Airdrie, AB passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital in Calgary on Saturday, December 17, 2005 at the age of 86 years. Phyllis was born in Airdrie, AB, a daughter of Paul and Elizabeth Carpenter, who pioneered in Yankee Valley. After her marriage to Eric Bosomworth, they settled on the Carpenter farm until retirement. Phyllis is survived by her son Phillip (Gloria) Bosomworth; two daughters, Ruth (Les) Evans, and Mary (Gordon) Meggison. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Jacqueline, Sabreena, Sarah, Jeff, and Ariana; four great-grandchildren, Sheridyn, Kenan, Zach, and Elise; as well as nieces Esther (George) Campbell, and Roberta (Lee) Exum; brother-in-law Neil (Ruth) Bosomworth; and nephews Dr. John (Myrna) Bosomworth and Dave Bosomworth. Phyllis was predeceased by her husband Eric in September of 2003. A Graveside Service will be held at Airdrie Cemetery (33 Big Hill Way, Airdrie, AB) on Thursday, December 22, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. A Service of Remembrance will follow at the Lutheran Church of the Master (216 Main Street S., Airdrie, AB) on Thursday, December 22, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with the Pastor Faith Brace, Presider.
