Obituary of John Hugh Brentnall

John Brentnall of Calgary passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at the age of 79 years. John was born on April 27, 1926 in Motherwell, Scotland. He served overseas during WWII with the Cameronians from 1944 to 1947. Although John immigrated to Canada in 1951 Scotland has always remained home in his heart. He worked in Toronto and retired from Ontario Hydro. John moved to Calgary in 2000 to be closer to his children and grandchildren. John is survived by his son John; his daughter and son-in-law Carole and Barry; five grandchildren, David, Brent, Sean, Laura, and Maureen; his sisters, Ann, Sadie, Jane, May, and Betty; and his brother Tommy. John was predeceased by his loving wife of fifty-two years Maisie; and his brother Jimmy.
