Obituary of David William Royer

David William Royer beloved husband of Mrs. Florence Royer of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2005 at the age of 75 years. David was born on April 19, 1930 in Arrowwood, AB. He worked as a trouble-shooter for the City of Calgary water and sewer department for twenty-two years, retiring in 1991. David married Florence (Faye) Williams on July 15, 1978. He enjoyed watching various sporting events and especially to go for walks in the neighbourhood where he could meet new people. David loved his family and grandchildren and will be greatly missed. Besides his loving wife, Faye, David is also survived by his children, MaryAnn Royer of Prince George, BC, David Royer of Kelowna, BC, and Kathleen Royer of Vancouver, BC; grandchildren, Dexter Royer, Christopher Royer, Susan Royer, and Bradley Poutney. He is also survived by his sister, Helen Newton of Didsbury, AB; brother, George Royer of Vulcan, AB. David was predeceased by his parents, Aaron and Della; brothers, Jake, Ervin and Earl Royer. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. Graveside Service to follow in Moose Deer Point, Ontario at a later date.
