Obituary of Rose Rosen

Rose Rosen of Calgary passed away at the Extendicare Cedars Villa on Saturday, December 10, 2005 at the age of 86 years. Rose is survived by her children and their spouses, Dale and Jack, Jill and Alan, and Murray and Michele; as well as her beloved grandchildren, Stacey, Michael, Carli, Jaime, Kobi, and Hannah. She also leaves to mourn her brother and sister-in-law David and Sheila Rabb of Winnipeg, MB; and her sister Merle Schwartz of Palm Springs, CA. Rose was predeceased by her beloved husband Abe of fifty-eight years on June 16, 2003. Rose became an active member of Beth Tzedec sisterhood, Ort, National Council of Jewish Women, and Hadassah-Wizo. Her husband, children and grandchildren were a constant source of pride and happiness. A devoted homemaker, Rose’s loving and generous spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The family wishes to thank Imad for his care and devotion to Rose for the past seven years. Graveside Services will be held at Beth Tzedec Memorial Park (122 Shalom Way S.W.) on Monday, December 12, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Hadassah-Wizo.
