Obituary of Elizabeth Prost

Elizabeth (Betty) Prost (nee Deigan), beloved wife of Andre Prost, passed away with her family by her side on Thursday, December 8, 2005 at the age of 73 years. She was born in Coatbridge, Scotland and immigrated to Canada as a young woman. She met Andre (an airman from Bulwark Alberta) while she was serving in the RCAF in Alliston, ON. They lived in Zwiebruken, Germany, Ottawa, Cold Lake, Edmonton, Edson, and finally Calgary. Betty was an accomplished librarian and she used to write book reviews for the local paper. A gregarious soul, she devoted herself to enriching the lives of her family and friends. She loved family gatherings, traveling and festive occasions. Betty is survived by Gerald and Jeannette and their two boys Brendan and Liam, Allan and Deborah and their daughter Abbigail, Ian and Sandy, and her husband Andre.
