Obituary of William Souliere

William (Bill) Donald Souliere beloved husband of Sabina Souliere of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2005 at the age of 48 years. Bill was born on January 4, 1957 in Thunder Bay, ON. He grew up in Schreiber, ON where he attended Holy Angel School and Lake Superior High School. He then moved to Calgary at the age of nineteen, where he had a career in sales for a few years before moving into his longterm career in Pipeline Construction. Bill donated to numerous charitable organizations with the Canadian Blood Services and the Terry Fox Run being the two greatest passions. Bill donated blood over 150 times and was recognized this year for participating and raising funds for the Terry Fox Run since 1980 (twenty-five years). Bill’s creative nature gave him an opportunity to publish the poem “The Question” in the book “Best Poems of 1998 The National Library of Poetry”. Bill had a beautiful singing voice and you would find him at Karaokee on Friday or Saturday nights. He will be sadly missed by his wife Sabina, and his children Alexandria and Ashton. He will be greatly missed by his mother Helen and step-father Edgar Leblanc, his brother Michael (Janette) Souliere, his sister Michelle Butler, and his sister Carol (Eero) Jansen. He will also be remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Bill was predeceased by his father Donald Souliere, his brother John Souliere, grandparents Winnie and Joe Campbell, Euclid and Mary Souliere, and Patrick and Annastasia Leblanc. Funeral Services will be held at MCINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, December 9, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. There will be an additional service in Schreiber, ON, on Tuesday, December 13, 2005.
