Obituary of Theresa Ann Currie

Theresa Ann Currie, beloved wife of Wilf Currie of Calgary, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, December 4, 2005, after a year long battle with soft tissue sarcoma at the age of 36 years. Theresa was born in Kamloops and raised in Sayward, BC on Vancouver Island. Theresa met her husband Wilf in Victoria and they moved to Calgary in 1995 to raise their two children. Theresa’s greatest joy in life were her two children, her family and the many friends she met. She loved the outdoors including camping, fishing, hunting; Theresa was a naturalist. She was taken from us far too early. Theresa touched the lives of many and was an inspiration to all who knew her; especially the participants of the Living with Cancer day program, staff and volunteers at Hospice Calgary. Besides her loving husband Wilf, Theresa is survived by her children Chase and Shauni-Rae, her mother Barbara (Denis) of Sayward BC; sister, Laura (Cam) Thomson of Victoria, BC, sister Caroline Ingenhaag (Glen) of Nanaimo, BC; and her father-in-law Walter Currie of Calgary. She is also survived by numerous loving relatives and many dear friends.
