Obituary of Marie Toews

Marie Toews, beloved wife of Clarence (Cy) Toews of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2005 at the age of 90 years. Marie was born and raised in Calgary. She was employed by Burns Foods and later by the Calgary General Hospital. Marie was a very positive and cheerful lady who enjoyed family gatherings, golf, bowling and curling. She was a devoted and loving wife. Marie was a breast cancer survivor for over thirty-five years. Besides her loving husband of fifty-nine years, Marie is survived by her sister June Parton; brother and sister-in-law Bob and Winnie Louden, all of Calgary, nieces and nephews, Rod (Margaret) Pocock, Leslie (Wayne) Lawrence, Lori (Dwight) McKeage, Linda (David) Simpson, Blake (Jennifer) Louden, Jeff (Nancy) Louden, Robin (Mark) Tomlinson, and Gloria Sweder; brother in-law and sister-in-law Ken and Shirley Toews and family; and nine grand nieces and nephews. Marie was predeceased by three sisters Evelyn Pocock, Polly Sweder and Freda Field.
