Obituary of R.E. Bob Tricker

Robert Earl (R.E. Bob) Tricker beloved husband of Nina of Airdrie, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2005 at the age of 66 years. Bob was born on August 25, 1939 in Calgary, AB. He married Nina Bartlett on November 17, 1962. Bob was active in the grain trade where he worked as a buyer for Alberta Pacific Grain, Federal Grain, and then Alberta Wheat Pool until going to work with the Canadian Wheat Board until his retirement in 2000. Although it is called retirement, Bob never stopped working. He enjoyed being at Adesa and Manager of the Airdrie Town and Country Centre. Bob was also an active member of the Knights of Columbus third and fourth degree. Bob also enjoyed hunting, golfing and curling. He was an accomplished curler and especially loved the friendships he made over the years. Bob was a very loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather and friend to many. Besides his loving wife Nina, Bob is survived by his daughters, Shannon and Glen Isaac of Airdrie; Michelle and Jay Lajoie of Winnipeg; four grandchildren, ErynGrace and Kathleen Isaac, Elizabeth and Robert Lajoie; mother-in-law, Johanna Bartlett of Calgary. He is also survived by his brother, Bert and Bonnie Tricker of Glouschester, ON; sister Shirley and Frances MacDonald of Courtney, BC; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Allan and Susan Bartlett of Winnipeg, MB, and several nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his parents Grace and Robert Tricker. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at the Town & Country Centre, Airdrie on Thursday, December 1, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Town & Country Centre, Airdrie on Friday December 2, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev.
