Obituary of William McKay

William (Bill) Herbert McKay, beloved husband of Diane of Calgary, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Foothills Medical Centre on Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at the age of 61 years. Bill was born and raised in Calgary. He moved with his young family to the High River area where they lived for many years until being transferred with work to Sherwood Park in 1984. Upon retiring after thirty-seven years with Petro Canada Refinery, Bill and Diane began building their dream farm in the Millarville area. Bill enjoyed meeting and reacquainting with new and old friends. Bill was also actively involved with breeding, raising, and showing Arabian horses. He will be forever loved and missed by his devoted wife of thirty-five years, Diane; his daughter and son-in-law Katherine and Russ Domville of Dewinton, AB; his son and daughter-in-law Bradley and Sandra of Edmonton, AB; his granddaughter Sasha Lewis of Millarville; his brother and sister-in-law Bob and Carol McKay of Standard, AB; his sister and brother-in-law Carole and Gary Baker of Priddis, AB. Bill was predeceased by his parents Herbert and Catherine. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Monday, November 28, 2005 at 2:30p.m. A Family Graveside Service will be held at Queen’s Park Cemetery at a later date.
